dc.description.abstractΣτο έργο Le Salon, ένα σαλόνι γίνεται μάρτυρας οικογενειακών στιγμών που σπάνια βγαίνουν «από τον οίκο» για να παρουσιαστούν επί σκηνής. Σε πλήρη παρακμή μαζί με την οικογένεια που το κατοικούσε, γίνεται μάρτυρας μιας δύσκολης και ιδιαίτερης στιγμής: όταν τα γηρατειά γίνονται αβάσταχτα τόσο για τον ίδιο τον γερασμένο άνθρωπο, όσο και για τη νεότερη γενιά. Το φθαρμένο σαλόνι συμπαρασύρει στην παρακμή του ό,τι βρεθεί μέσα σ’ αυτό και στραγγίζει από τους χυμούς της ζωής τα πάντα: μουσική, έρωτες, ανθρώπινες υπάρξεις, αντικείμενα. Τίποτα δεν μπορεί ν’ αντισταθεί στη δύναμή του και τίποτα δεν μπορεί ν’ αναστρέψει τη βαρύτητα που, όλο και περισσότερο, τραβά τα πάντα προς τη γη.
